Once again this year, a dirt removal day was organised in Lieser. At 9.00 a.m., local mayor Jochen Kiesgen and 1st councillor Christian Büscher welcomed 45 motivated participants, including many children. After dividing up the groups, the event got underway with full commitment. The groups collected rubbish and rubbish on the hiking trails and cleaned up the Moselle foreshore and the dam crossing. By lunchtime, the container was already full to the brim. At the end, all the hard-working helpers were able to fortify themselves with sausages and drinks at the fire station.
